WomanCare offers telehealth consults for new patients, and for ongoing herbal therapy check-ins. We use a Doxy.me web portal to establish a secure, HIPAA-compliant video-chat connection at your scheduled appointment time. Please call to set up a telehealth appointment.

To visit the WomanCare virtual office at your appointment time, simply click on this link, or type “www.doxy.me/womancare” into your web browser. Follow prompts to enable your microphone and camera, and check into the waiting room.  

Please be prepared to share any new medical updates, such as: medication, supplement, or allergy changes, new lab test or imaging results, or new diagnoses from your physician.

Uncertain whether telehealth is appropriate for your concern? Telehealth may be a good option for many conditions, including: menstrual and fertility problems, headaches, allergies, respiratory symptoms (including COVID recovery), digestive disturbances, and some kinds of pain. Using telehealth, I can recommend herbal therapy and modify existing formulas for a wide variety of conditions. I can also offer acupressure and/or moxibustion instruction for expectant mothers. If you are unsure if telehealth is appropriate for you, we will be glad to advise.

The telehealth fee for follow-up herbal/acupressure consultations is $45/visit. The telehealth fee for addressing a new concern is $75/visit. The cost of any recommended herbs is not included in these fees.

Special instructions for patients seeking assistance with respiratory illness symptoms:

1. First speak with your primary care physician’s office by phone, and follow your doctor’s recommendations.
2. Chinese herbs may be a valuable option for managing symptoms and avoiding deterioration, taken either on their own or as an additional support to standard care from your physician.
3. Please fill out the acute illness questionnaire (download below) before your telehealth consult, so that I can choose the best formula to help you. During the consult, I will ask clarifying questions and check your tongue.
